Tut tut…Degree forgery by Iranian Interior Ministry 3, October 2008

Iranian Interior Minister Ali Kordan claimed that he had a law degree from Oxford University and he duly submitted his degree – below – as proof.

In case you can’t tell, this is a fake and not even a good one at that. It is riddled with errors. Yet the best thing about the story is his excuse: he said that he had been “duped by an intermediary who had given him the degree.”

The Times of London has many more examples of this kind of blatant CV forgery.
