Qatar came 128th in a recent study assessing and ranking the quality of life in countries across the world. Qatar did exceptionally badly in criteria focusing on the cost of living, freedom, infrastructure and climate.

What’s really strange is that the UAE is 13 places behind Qatar, in 141st position, performing particularly poorly on environment and climate. I think just about any expat you speak to would prefer living in the UAE to Qatar. Makes one wonder just how they compile the rankings.
